Adding custom fields?

I am currently using org chart and syncing with SharePoint Profiles, I’d like to capture Hire Date in the org chart. Is there a way to add a custom field ? I am using dir sync to sync my AD to my O365 environment.

To add a new field to the Box Template, please, go to the Box Template step of the Configuration Wizard, choose fields which you want to display in the box and then drag them up and down to define order:

Similarly, you can add custom fields to the other templates.
