Add discussion to a SharePoint form not working

I've added the a discussion in the form and follow the steps.

But the Post button will not work or refresh. I need to save the whole form in order to save the discussion.

Please advise how to make the Post button wok without saving the whole item.

Do you get any errors in the console(F12)? Could you please share the screenshot.

Also, please share the code that you are using to troubleshoot the issue.
