In PowerApps, I was able to add a label to the SharePoint field to denote additional information (in the case what the field measurement is).
I tried this in Plumsail by adding a Plain Text in the column next to the field, but it creates to much separation between the data and text. Any suggestions on how I can achieve this?

Is that the Display form?
If so, you can display the field value next to the text using the Plain Text control. For this, add the control to the form, enter the text and add the field internal name inside square braces.
If this is the New/Edit form, you can change the width of the control in the field settings to get rid of the space:
