Bulk editing for List or Library

I can see that Bulk Editing was added in v1.7.4 for SharePoint Online, when can we expect this to be added to SharePoint 2019 version? While I understand there might not be as many updates for on-premise, hardly any of the updated features have made their way across, and a lot of the features available in the Online version sound great!
