I have a Plumsail form that upon submission captures data and pushes to Microsoft List using Power Automate. I would like to be able to get the PDF version of the completed form using Power Automate. From Power Automated we would store the PDF version of the completed form likely in a SharePoint library. I don't see a way to get the PDF version of the completed submission using Power Automate.
Thank you
Hello @tverticchio,
You can create a PDF from the template using Plumsail Documents or Microsoft WOrd (Business) actions. Please find more information in these articles:
Thank you Margo for the reply. Unfortunately it looks like this solution relies on having Forms for SharePoint, which we do not have.
I am able to save a PDF of the submission by going into our account, selecting the form, clicking the three dots next to the submission, then Form, then Save as PDF. I was hoping there was a way to capture the PDF using Power Automate to avoid the manual process.
The only actions I see in Power Automate related to Plumsail Forms are to Download Attachment, Delete Attachment or Delete Submission.
Is there a way to create/capture a PDF of the submission using just Forms?
You can save the form data as a PDF manually, as you did in the submission settings. It essentially saves the browser page as a PDF, using the browser's built-in print functionality.
If you want to automate this process, you need to create a template, populate it with data from the form, and then save it as a PDF.
Please see documentation specifically for public forms following the link:
