I’ve just discovered your workflow actions and I’ve gotta say they are brilliant.
I have been working with your blog post “Invite External Users Using SharePoint Designer Workflows in Office 365 (Online)”. I’ve got it all working which is great but I’ve hit a small issue that I wanted to pick your brains on.
When the invite goes out it takes the user to the root site URL and not the document library they have been given permission on. This means they get a access denied error, they don’t have access to the site.
I was trying to figure out a way of adding the user to the sites visitors group as part of the invite process but I can’t seem to make it work. I am assuming because the user isn’t a site user until they have gone through the invite process? is this assumption correct or am I missing something?
As part of the folder setup process I am trying to copy a folder from one document library to the newly created folder within the secure document but it I keep getting the following error in the workflow history:
“Exception: Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined”
I think it is because I can’t copy to sub folders but if you can confirm that would be great.

Currently, the workflow action supports invite users to site group only. Sure, you can create a group and assign the group to a document library, but you will get the mentioned issue.
There are a few possible solutions:
First workaround you can use “Email Body” property to specify a link.
Second, I would offer you to buy our support service ($100) and we will add another workflow action that will invite a user to a list/document library.

Could you please send me at rylov@plumsail.com a screenshot of the workflow, I suppose the issue in incorrect settings.
