Unable to create new PDF process

I am trialing Plumsail Documents, and attempting to run through an example process from their documentation here. I am running Windows 10 Enterprise (21301.1010) and accessing the Plumsail Documents webapp using Microsoft Edge Chromium browser Version 90.0.795.0 (Official build).

  1. I have downloaded a copy of the sample form-fillable PDF to try the process creation example, however I have this same issue with other PDFs I have tried.

  2. When creating the process, using any PDF, after uploading it, I become stuck here:

  3. Clicking the “Next” button does nothing and I can’t advance to the next step in the process.

I don't have this problem with other filetypes - seemingly just PDFs. Can someone please suggest what might be going wrong?
