Alternative to data table for mobile view

Hi Everyone,

I currently have a Data Table for adding details of Family members.
i.e. how many children are in the family, and their details. (see below)
I love the way you can add a new row easily.

However in the Mobile view, the Data Table doesnt work, and so wanted to see if anyone had suggestions to allow people to add as many data sets as required (family members).

At the moment, the option i have is Separate field sets for Family Member 1, 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11
however that is a lot of fields, considering there would be around 7 per member. These would then be in separate Grid / Classes to then use the hide/show class coding depending on the option.

Yes, that's the only option at the moment and what we've seen used. Keep in mind that Data Table is still usable on mobile devices and data will be added in dialog mode for ease of use, so users don't have to scroll horizontally to add data to each column.

When you say Dialog mode, i found references to that on Sharepoint forms, however not on the standard Forms.

Are you saying that it automatically goes to dialogue mode?
as on the preview in mobile mode it still shows the table, and you have to scroll.

I had a look for the dialogue mode on the form, however couldnt find it.

This is only for editing records, and happens automatically on mobile devices when adding new record/editing existing ones:

Wowzers, thats great!!

I must admit after you do so many test runs, i had stopped testing everyfield, so when i implemented the mobile version i didnt actually press the add Record button :man_facepalming:
