App Step and workflow permissions

Hello,

I am just testing out the Workflow Pack now, but I wanted to know if using an App Step would eliminate the need to pass user credentials to actions that interact with SharePoint. Would an action in an App Step handle permissions for instance?

Hello Steve, thank you for question.

The short answer is no.
Our workflow actions are required to specify credentials.
App step works for default workflow actions only.
