Is it possible when building a public form to have it use the mobile device's camera to read a barcode in a text field? It would be handy for our inventory forms.

No, there is currently no functionality for this in Public Forms. But we can offer paid support for adding corresponding control for reading scanned bar code into a text field. Please email us at support@plumsail.com for estimation.
