Comment panel does not open when opening a form configured for Fullscreen

(Tested in Edge only)

  1. Configure the form to display “FullScreen.”
  2. Click a comment link in an email notification or the comment Icon to the right of an Item’s Title.
  3. RESULT: The SharePoint modern list comment panel does not open

The comment panel does open when the form is set to Panel or Dialog.
