In my SP2019 environnement (maybe it happends in SPO too), I applied a custom theme via the ApplyTheme REST request (check documentation here) but Forms switch back to default blue theme. Standard SP theme works correctly.
Clearing cache, reloading, iisreset… nothing helped.
As you may now, SP2019 has limited features regarding SPO and something like the AddTenantTheme REST request doesn’t exists.

Thank you for the feedback! We’re going to look into it, and see if it is possible to support such themes in the future.
For now, I can recommend customizing Forms using CSS, you should be able to apply custom colors to elements with CSS alone.
P.S. I’ve discussed this question with the dev team, and they say that SharePoint 2019 version can only support default themes currently. If you want to add a support to custom theme, it can be arranged, please, email us at support@plumsail.com with the request.

I will open a ticket about this feature request as soon as my company decide to purshase Plumsail Forms (I have still with a trial license).
