We're excited to introduce a couple of powerful updates to document generation processes in Plumsail Documents!
Edit Templates on Desktop
Now you can edit your document templates using MS Office on your desktop. Just click "Edit in Desktop", make your changes, and the process automatically updates your template when you save — no extra steps needed.
This is especially useful for creating complex documents with advanced formatting that only Microsoft Office applications support.
Bulk Start Processes from CSV/Excel
You can now run multiple processes using data from an XLSX or CSV file — no need to build complex Power Automate, Zapier, or Make flows. This is especially handy for one-off tasks, like:
- Sending multiple invitations
- Generating student certificates
- Processing bulk data for documents
To bulk start the process, upload your Excel or CSV file and map the tokens to the corresponding columns. For more details, check out the documentation.
