Documents: Updates to Power Automate connector, Recycle bin in Processes, and New formatters

Hi! Angelika from the Plumsail team here👋

The latest releases have brought a bunch of updates to Plumsail Documents. Check them out! :rocket:

Recycle bin in Processes

When you delete a document generation process in Plumsail, it goes to the Recycle Bin for 30 days. During this time, you can easily restore it or permanently delete it. This is especially useful for teams, as it allows you to recover any accidentally removed processes without needing to set them up again.

New If and Slice formatters

The new If formatter allows you to set conditions and define values for both positive and negative outcomes, enabling you to show or hide sections of your document based on these conditions. It’s available in the following template formats:

Additionally, the new Slice formatter lets you extract a portion of an array using start and end indexes.

Improved Split PDF action

The Split PDF action is now more flexible, letting you choose the splitting logic that works best for you:

  • Extract pages: Select specific pages or a range of pages to extract from the PDF.
  • Split into chunks: Divide the PDF into equal-sized chunks, with the option to specify a range of pages for the split.
  • Split by bookmarks: Use table of contents bookmarks as splitting points. You can define the bookmark depth and use bookmark names for the extracted PDF files.

Improved CSV to Excel

The CSV to Excel action now includes an advanced option that allows you to map fields and set data types, ensuring your data is correctly formatted in the final Excel file—whether it's strings, numbers, dates, or more.

You can also rename columns to make them distinct from the original CSV file, resulting in clearer and more user-friendly column names in your Excel file.

New Images to PDF action

The Plumsail Documents connector for Power Automate now features a new action that allows you to convert an array of images into a single PDF file.
