Error grant permission to active directory security group

Hello.
I am trying to grant permissions to active directory secuirity group and get error "Exception: Group cannot be found. ". I tried to set the group in different ways (display name, email, id). Meanwhile the action “add user to sharepoint group” to add the ad group to sp group is successfully. Is it a bug of the workflow actions? Are there any possibilities to grant permission to ad group? Thanks

Hello @maria_4ern,

I ran the action in my sandbox and it worked. Although I used a simple example with hardcoded parameters.

Please try following

  1. Delete the Grant permissions action from your flow and make sure that it's completed successfully after that.

  2. Try to run Grant permissions action against an existing group and user.

Thanks for your reply. The point is that I need to grant permissions to active directory security group. Your example is with user as I suppose. With ad user I don’t have any problems.

we've exactly the same issue: "Exception: Group cannot be found."
