Fill PDF form and Lock some form fields with Power Automate

Hi everyone,

I have a PDF form with text fields and checkboxes that I'd like to fill using Power Automate.
When I set "Lock Form Fields" to Yes, it unexpectedly locked all fields instead of just the ones I intended to fill and lock.

Hi @Power_Bi,

The "Lock Form Fields" option locks all fields in the result PDF and doesn't differentiate them.

If you want some of the fields to be available for editing, you can probably create 2 PDF files: fill one and lock the fields and merge it with the second with available fields.

Best regards,

Hi @Petr,

Thanks for your awnser. Unfortunately the fields that I want to lock are on the same page.

Hi @Power_Bi,

I discussed the case with my team today and confirmed that at the moment all the PDF fields are locked.
Could you describe your use case, and we'll think if we can improve the option and make it more flexible?

Also, as a workaround, it's probably possible to use a Plumsail Form instead of the PDF form. Once the Plumsail Form is submitted, it will create a DOCX file.
