Hide a value from a dropdown list

Hi,

How can i hide an option from a drop down list so a user cannot select it? I need to value so it can viewed on the edit and display form but just hidden on the create form.

Thanks, i dont understand how that will hide or remove a value from the dropdown?

I worked it out. I had to manually list the values I wanted through not use the list from SharePoint and just hide the one i didn’t want.
