Mass import Excel to Helpdesk

Hello,

we are currently struggeling with the import of tickets from oour old ticket-system.

We have made an export to Excel. We want to import the items by quick edit.
Unfortunately, even with every column showed in the view, it says that one or more columns were missing and we shold use the new element function to create new tickets. This is no option due to 3000 tickets.

Is there a workaround? How can we import elements?
The way here Mass import from Excel described is not working for us.

Hello Daniel! I would advise you to create a Power Automate flow:

  • trigger it manually,
  • retrieve the Excel table using an Excel connector,
  • for each row, create a ticket using a HelpDesk connector.
