New form issue on SharePoint Online

Hello,

Since this morning, none of the New forms are working for any of our clients (more than fifteen tenants are affected).

There are no issues with the DISPLAY and EDIT forms.
It seems that there was an update from Microsoft regarding the URL when creating a new item.

Are you aware of this issue, and do you have any information to share with us about it?

We are aware of the issue and we are working on a fix. This is indeed caused by the Microsoft update.

As a temporary workaround, you can set the forms to open in a panel:

I'll notify you once we have a time estimate for a permanent solution.

We have no issues with New Forms in SharePoint Online. Presumably this means the Microsoft update hasn't been provisioned on our tenant yet? I obviously recognise the need for a fix, but I am slightly concerned that any fix might mean that new forms stop working for us, since we currently have no problem.

Thank you for your response, even though the solution isn't the most efficient depending on the forms.

For your information, I found another temporary workaround: Setting the list view to classic experience.

I look forward to your feedback on a permanent solution; this issue is quite inconvenient.

Hi @Kefran, @peter.harrison,

It seems like the issue was resolved on Microsoft's side before we rolled out our fix. You might have to clear the browser's cache for the changes to take effect.

Let me know if you still experience any problems.
