New items in SharePoint Panel mode

Hi - new user to Forms for Sharepoint online. Previous user of the older forms product in SP 2013.

Quick question - users like the Panel mode in list view - however, when creating new items in panel mode the list requires a manual refresh to show the new list item. Is there a way to have new items show up without manual list refresh? I tried some JS to force refresh under spSaved but couldn’t get it to fire. apologies if this is already covered in the community.

please disregard. New items are in fact showing without need for refresh.

Dear @JCM,
We use the same methods for posting and updating items that default SharePoint forms use, however, we’ve also noticed that sometimes SharePoint takes time for items to update/appear, this seems to be related to back end processing and something that only Microsoft has control over. This happens rarely and not on every tenant, but it can be very noticable.

Hopefully, these issues are temporary.

thanks. Quick follow-up; to ensure list items show immediately disable the default “Offline and sync” in list settings > advanced settings. When this is set to “yes” it seems to cause unpredictable behavior and sometimes lags of hours or days to see new list items.
