Org Chart error upon every first opening of the Org Chart within a day

Most of the time, when I first load up the Plumsail org chart for the day, it won't load and it will give me an error message:

Afterwards, if I reload the page, the org chart will load up just fine, but this issue repeats every morning when I open up the org chart. It also occurs when I first load up the org chart in an incognito window. I have tried this with multiple test accounts with a variety of different permission levels. Is there a way for the app not to error out the first time loading and needing a reload to properly load?

Please share some more info with us so we can investigate.

  1. What's your Org Chart version? You can access it here:

  2. Do you have some filtration settings or custom JS set up?
    Please try to create a test web page and insert a 'fresh' Org Chart web part on it. Does the issue persist with the default settings?

  3. Please send us a screenshot of your "Data Source" and "General Settings" tabs (and of Custom JavaScript tab it is has come custom code).

  1. Our Org Chart version is v.3.2.28.

  2. Our org chart is set to start at our CEO, but otherwise there are no filtration rules or custom JS.

  3. I haven't done any custom Javascript, but I'll attach a screenshot of that just in case.

What browser are you using?
Can you, please try the following so that we have a clearer picture:
1 Open the page with Org Chart in another browser and see if the same exact issue occurs.

2 Try to open the direct link to the script from the error message before opening the page with Org Chart (https://wf-services.plumsail.com/OrgChart/v3/Handlers/Loader/v3/plumsail-org-chart-bundle.js). A script body should appear. Are there warning messages from the browser? If so, please send us some screenshots.

3 Also, please send us a screenshot of the Console tab from DevTools(F12) when this issue occurs.

Hello,

  1. I usually use Chrome, which is up to date (32 bit ver. 78.0.3904.108), but the same issue happened when I used Firefox (32 bit ver. 70.1).

  2. I did not encounter any errors when trying to open the .js file before opening the Org Chart in a fresh incognito browser.

Hi everyone!

The new version of Org Chart has been released. It improves scripts loading and should reduce issues with SharePoint unable to load scripts of Org Chart on first load.

Please drop us a message if you use Org Chart above version 3.5.15 and still have issues like this.
