Our org chart loads up very slowly. Is there any way to speed it up?

Thank you for your message. As I know you already updated the Org Chart. But I will post reply here for others who may have such issue.
Org Chart version 2 has improved rendering engine. If you still use version 1 you may update the app using the link inside app box (Site contents) or just remove the app and install it again.
You can check your current version by clicking dots (…) at the right top corner of the app (Site contents):
Note: Update requires configuration of web part from scratch.
