I'm glad you were able to figure it out! I'll leave a solution for those who are also wondering how to remove the profile picture.
Open the configuration wizard and navigate to the 'Templates' tab. Switch the editor mode from 'Design' to 'HTML' and remove the following lines of code:
If you are more comfortable working with the Design mode, simply select any other field for the Photo URL value (e.g. ID):
