is it possible to have a longer recaptcha session before expiration?

You mean after it has been checked? This might not be possible as the reCaptcha is provided by Google, and it only holds true for 2 minutes - security - Increase reCAPTCHA session timeout - Stack Overflow

I will try to put recaptcha as another tab in my form before submit.
