Remove "Add new Ticket"

Hi we are trying to see if the helpdesk widget can be costomize to remove the "Add new ticket" and make it only "Active" and "Solved" tab.

we would like to add "Add new Ticket" link to a separate button with a popup window where users can fill in and submit a ticket.

is this possible?

Well, it should be discussed with developers, but could you explain first why the current "Add new ticket" link doesn't suit you? It also opens a form to submit a new ticket though it's within the widget instead of a pop-up window. If you need to change the form, you can customize it using a free version of Plumsail Forms (public).
