We have a survey form where tenants answer some questions, in this one we have a dropdown field with all the apartments, 4000+ of them
Is it possible to make the dropdown searchable, so they can start typing the address and it will sort accordingly

As discussed in the email, for the addresses, the better option would be splitting the address into multiple fields. For instance, street, building, and apartment.
But if that is not what you want, we can implement an autocomplete feature for a single choice dropdown field input. That would be a paid support and I've sent you the estimation by email.
