Sharepoint online search not responsive in form mode

Hello team,

We have customized SharePoint Online list forms, which are set to fullscreen mode. When a user is in any of the form modes (New, Edit, or View), the SharePoint Online search becomes unresponsive.
Since we are using custom JavaScript on the forms, we initially thought it might be causing the issue. However, after testing in a different environment, we experienced the same problem.
Is this behavior by design, or is there a way to resolve it?

Thank you for the report! We're researching this right now, most likely it cannot be used in custom forms.

If it can be used - we'll make sure to restore its functionality, if not - we'll make sure to hide it.
