We are looking at use cases in which we want to collaborate with external users on specific forms. At the moment when we invite someone they join our team and can see all forms for editing. We want to limit specific users access to specific forms. I don; think this is currently possible. Is something that may be on the horizon? Or the ability to create teams/subteams within the account and add specific users to the subtema?

Have you considered exporting the form and sharing it as a JSON file between the collaborators? This approach may be less convenient than working in teams, but it would allow for complete control over access rights and version history.
