Using Root ID (Issue)

I have tried using the Root ID to display the Organization for a specific Manager, but regardless of what I specify:

  • \username
  • Username

I get the same error message (see attachment):

Thank you for your question.

Org Chart uses account name as Root ID if you use user profiles as a data source. If you use SharePoint Online in Office 365, account name is usually looks like email. Something like this:

username@domain.com
username@domain.onmicrosoft.com

Please try to use email as account name and let me know about the results.
