I know SharePoint can sync emails with list using out of the box functionality. What is difference between out of the box functionality and activity ‘Sync exchange e-mails with list’?
I need to map custom SharePoint fields to email body and subject. As I know, this is not possible with out of the box functionality, does your activity allow to do that?

Hi Berta,

SharePoint 2013 doesn’t support synchronization of emails with list. It was possible with SharePoint 2010. Now there is not out of the box solution for synchronization of emails with SharePoint list.

Activity ‘Sync exchange e-mails with list’ allows to sync emails from Exchange mailbox with SharePoint list, define mapping between list fields and email fields. It also supports email attachment synchronization.
