Add Category field to widget form

Hi.
I am trying to add a category field to the new ticket on the widget form.
In the helpdesk agent access, I can select from a drop-down, but I found no easy way to present the same drop-down on the new ticket form.
We are using MS 365 SharePoint, accessible only to internal, authenticated users.
I read through the documentation, but it seems to not apply to a SharePoint hosted widget form. We have a paid version of Plumsail Forms as well, if that helps...
I thought it would either work through widget settings in Helpdesk directly or by customising the form using PS forms..
The guide described way seems quite involved for such a trivial thing. Having our users pick the category of their ticket seems very logical.

As I understand, you read this article about the widget form customisation.

  1. Download the default form for authenticated users by the link in the article.
  2. Create a new public web form in your Plumsail account and import the downloaded file.
  3. Add a drop-down field with the same options as you have in the 'Category' field on your HelpDesk site. The field name should be the same as on the site, that is 'Category.'
  4. Copy the form ID:
  5. Open the widget settings and paste the form ID in the accordant field:

That is it. Please try the customisation and let me know whether you succeeded.

It seems so simple now, I got confused by the mention of Plumsail Forms in the article.
