Mails not being sent error

I applied the update this morning, but prior to this I was met with the error message:

No emails are being generated to end users / agents either. I can see the triggers running but, no emails.

What is the issue?

Does the issue persists after the update? If so and in the case you use Outlook mailboxes, please try to re-connect them. If it does not help, share the screenshot of the error you see on the 'Email' page in settings. Then, you can temporarily switch to the custom SMTP configuration. If you already use it, then, on the contrary, try to switch to the Outlook mailboxes if possible.

Update: if the issue persists (triggers run but no messages are sent) please export trigger logs and specify the runs when messages were not actually sent.
