Hi, we received a notification from Microsoft a few days ago regarding an upcoming change to Sharepoint online, "MC714186 - Remove Custom Script setting in OneDrive and SharePoint web"
It sounds like Microsoft is disabling custom scripting in sharepoint for all tenants in March and it can only be temporarly overridden (24 hours). I know we need to enable custom scripting to allow Plumsail Sharepoint forms to work, so will this change cause any problems?
We're working on removing the dependency on the scripting capabilities in Plumsail products. However, as mentioned, scripting capabilities can still be enabled programmatically via PowerShell; the option will only be removed from the UI.
Regarding PowerShell, Microsoft stated that it will possible only temporary : ''However, customers will still be able to temporarily enable the ability to run custom script by using PowerShell, as described in the articles mentioned below.''
Scripting capabilities must be enabled only for saving the first custom form to the site. Further savings at the same site do not require scripting capabilities.
We plan to remove the dependency on the scripting capabilities in 2 months.
Hello, we had an issue today regarding this topic. We created a list in a site and we were not able to push the plumsail forms because the scripting ability has been turned off. Will we still be able to use Plumsail when Microsoft turn them off officialy in november?

As I know, there are no plans to remove the option to enable scripting capabilities on the SharePoint sites. You can still enable scripting capabilities using a PowerShell command, or allow Plumsail Forms App to do that for you.
