In Plumsail HelpDesk, is it possible to call a Power Automate Flow in a trigger instead of SharePoint WorkFlow?
Hello! Currently, it is not possible to start the Power Automate flow from the HelpDesk trigger. But you can integrate the Power Automate flow with the HelpDesk site using SharePoint triggers tied to the HelpDesk lists. Will it work for you? What is your use case? Perhaps, I could help with configuring the automation.

I understand that instead of using a HelpDesk trigger, we should use a Power Automate flow with a SharePoint trigger “When an item is created” on the “tickets” list and this should work.
I am asking this because for certain type of ticket we want to generate tasks for collaborators (ex: in Planner).

I believe you can do that through the Power Automate flow too without involving the trigger. When the item is created or modified, you can retrieve its properties and check whether they match the condition for the task creation.
